When we were growing up, our options for summer activities were pretty limited. Girls today have the option of attending an array of themed summer programs, and most recently, one in California has been catering to those who are interested in learning more about health and beauty.
My Beauty Camp, located in Santa Monica and headed up by professional skin therapist and a former runway model, is a one-week camp with workshops aimed at addressing topics like healthy eating, fitness, etiquette and social graces, fashion styling, makeup, hair care, skincare and goals. The entire week is topped off with the girls, ages 10 to 16, having their very own photo shoot with a professional photographer.
