I haven't had a full night's sleep in over four years. (Any of my fellow parents of young children are undoubtedly nodding their heads along to that sentence.) A promising new eye cream
When Three Ships Beauty's new First Light Vitamin C + Caffeine Eye Cream ($32) came across my desk I had low expectations, but even I had to admit the ingredient list was intriguing. The eye cream (from a beauty brand loved by Drew Barrymore) is formulated with energy-boosting caffeine extract from upcycled coffee beans, brightening acerola cherry (a natural source of vitamin C) and skin-softening squalane (a rich hydrator derived from olives). Together, this 100-percent natural blend creates the perfect storm to tackle almost every aging-eye concern.
Right off the bat I love that it's packaged as a hygienic tube rather than a in jar or tub. The cooling ceramic tip is so soothing and refreshing it's almost worth it for that feature alone. And while I can't promise you an instant miracle, the truth comes pretty close. A few dots absorbs quickly and in minutes the eyes staring back at me looked smoother, plump and more lifted. I still need to use concealer for the fully-awake look I want to project, but the First Light Vitamin C + Caffeine Eye Cream is a truly excellent pick that I'm confident will transform my eyes long term.
