Beauty e-tailer SkinStore recently conducted a survey of more than 2,000 American men and women to find out more about their holiday shopping habits. Results showed 20 percent of women hope to receive beauty products as a gift, but only 2 percent want perfume specifically, which is surprising when you think about how many people purchase fragrances at the holidays each year.

Although the number-one gift men said they’d like to receive was sports tickets, they surprisingly selected beauty/grooming products as their fourth-place pick.
