Leave it to queen of the hot girls and rap icon Megan Thee Stallion to quite literally turn the world of nail trends on its head. At this year’s Haute Couture Week, the “Body” singer appeared at Gaurav Gupta’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in an intricate, chain-mail ensemble and matching headpiece. The real showstopper was her inverted, upside-down acrylics.
Megan Thee Stallion Makes Inverted Nails Paris Fashion Week’s Hottest Nail Trend
Created by Thee Stallion’s long-time nail artist and hand-painted manicure expert, @nailedbytav, Megan’s Paris Fashion Week set features a brownish-silver cat eye polish and a stiletto shape, but the most intriguing part of the look is the placement of the tips. Instead of following the natural progression of the nails from cuticle to tip, the stiletto acrylics were flipped upside down, taking over much of her fingers and leaving the pointed tip resting just above her knuckle.
Paired with a soft glam that featured a subtle, brown wing, fluffy lashes and a natural, glossy lip, the rapper let the futuristic manicure stand out, posing with the set by her face to show off the first-of-its-kind style. While we’re not certain how functional these upside down acrylics are, the look easily fits the high-fashion, haute-couture bill in true Megan style.
