Following a whirlwind week of red carpet appearances that required full glam—including the Met Gala and the 70th David Di Donatello awards ceremony, to which she did her own makeup—the 27-year-old reality star and beauty mogul took to her Instagram story to share a casual selfie showing off her bare face.
The picture was posted on May 12, as she was heading to New York to watch the Knicks play against the Boston Celtics in the NBA playoffs with her older sibling, Kendall, and her beau, Timothée Chalamet. While we’ll always appreciate the candidness of a makeup-free selfie—especially one from a celebrity—that’s not even the most relatable part. Jenner also casually pointed out in the photo’s caption that she’s in the midst of a slight acne breakout.
“Pimple friend still here,” she wrote. Her selfie is just a casual (and refreshing) reminder that celebrities deal with blemishes on occasion too, and even having access to an endless amount of expensive in-office treatments and luxury skincare products doesn’t make them immune to skin struggles.
The only thing we’re curious to know now is what her go-to skin-care product is when she’s trying to get rid of a blemish. Our guess is a pimple patch, but we’ll never know for sure until she gives us a full rundown.
