One thing's for sure: Emily DiDonato has mastered her self-care routine. In an Instagram Reel shared on Wednesday, May 29, the 33-year-old model offered fans a glimpse into her ideal evening: relaxing in a cozy robe with an LED face mask while scrolling through Pinterest and watching TV.

"Once the kids are down .. my solo party begins," she captioned the video. In a text overlay on the post, she playfully addressed those curious about how she spends her time while her husband works. "Oh your husband works in finance? Have fun spending all that time alone while he's working 24/7."

Clearly, the Covey founder has no qualms about her solo time. In the video, she's filmed wearing the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask. This device has gained popularity as a pre-red carpet skin treatment among celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Sydney Sweeney and Halle Berry, among others.

One thing that separates the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Face Mask apart from others is that the mask itself is made of flexible silicone that makes it comfortable to wear. Unlike some other options on the market that feel like you're wearing armor, it's arguably a more pleasant user experience. As for its power, it boasts 132 LED (light-emitting diode) bulbs: 66 red (633nm) and 66 near-infrared (830nm). (For those new to light therapy, we'll explain more about what this means in a second.)

Red light is a type of LED light therapy in which you expose your skin to red or near-infrared light wavelengths. As previously explained to NewBeauty by Dallas, TX dermatologist Rebecca Marcus, MD, this type of red light "falls in the range of 620 to 750 nanometers [nm] on the electromagnetic spectrum." This range has been studied to offer lots of potential skin benefits, including stimulating collagen production, which supports the skin's structure and firmness, leading to an improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. (Keep in mind that seeing results requires consistent use. Just like with skin-care products, consistency is is key.)

Face masks aren't the only way to benefit from red light therapy. There are various products available, from handheld wands like the social media-famous Solawave Skin Care Wand to hands-free red light panels that you can sit in front of to absorb the light. These options come in a wide range of price points to suit every budget.
