Women face all kinds of pressure when it comes to physical appearance, especially women in Hollywood. This is nothing new.
In her new book, Unqualified, Anna Faris reveals that she got both lip injections and a breast augmentation after her role in The House Bunny sparked her desire for cosmetic surgery.

In the book, she explains she always felt most self-conscious about her lips, breasts, weight and hands. So, she made some changes.
“I started getting lip injections in my upper lip,” she writes. “I did it for a little bit and I noticed a small difference, but no one else ever said anything. I kept wondering if anybody else even noticed.”
She eventually started to “wean” herself off once her friends pointed out that her lips were beginning to look too big. She considers this cosmetic change a mistake and notes it was “definitely not the right choice for her.”
However, what she doesn’t regret is getting breast implants. While playing the role of a Playboy bunny in The House Bunny, Faris was an A-cup and wore a “heavily, heavily padded bra.” So, with then-husband Chris Pratt’s support, she decided to get breast implants.
She notes, “I’d recently ended my first marriage and I was clearly going through a year of revolutionary change—independence and a boob job!”
