Take a look at your driver’s license. The plastic ID is pretty thin, right? It’s less than a millimeter thick (around three-quarters of a millimeter, to be exact). Now, imagine a brow pencil that’s even thinner than that. But you no longer have to imagine: Anastasia Beverly Hills has launched its newest brow creation, Archibrow ($30).
Founder Anastasia Soare isn’t called the Queen of Brows for nothing. Coming in at just 0.5 millimeters, Archibrow is significantly thinner than the brand’s famed (and already ultra-slim) Brow Wiz ($26), which is twice as thick at one millimeter. In fact, it’s thinner than any other brow pencil we’ve seen.

The Fine Details
Archibrow delivers the precision of professional microblading right into your own hands. The super-thin, blade-like tip creates extremely realistic hair-like strokes that last all day thanks to a smudge-proof, water-resistant formula with 12-hour wear.
You get incredible control with this pencil, not just because of the nearly paper-thin tip but also because of the angled design, which makes it much easier to apply with even pressure (which means no risk of heavy, thick lines that don’t blend with your natural eyebrow hairs). This makes it ideal for beginners and pros alike, and especially helpful for those with sparse brows who want a natural look when filling in missing hairs. Plus, the pencil can also be used to color-correct already microbladed brows.
If you love natural-looking brows, this is a must-have for you. The ultra-thin tip makes each stroke look just like a single hair, but it also features buildable pigment for added definition. The pencil is just one end of the brow tool—the other end has a built-in spoolie to help blend and soften the look.
Application Tips
For pro-level application, the brand recommends choosing one shade lighter than your natural brow color throughout the brow and using one shade deeper where your brows are sparser. You can also use the lighter shade at the front of your brow and the deeper shade from the arch to the end of your brow. This two-shade approach gives added dimension for an even more natural look.
To start, twist up just a small amount of the pencil to avoid breakage (it’s thin and delicate!). Using the darker shade, it’s easiest to start with the end of the brow to get used to the right amount of pressure to apply (hint: the answer is very little pressure). Holding at a 45-degree angle, apply hair-like strokes in the direction of your brow growth, gliding up from the base of the brow. As you move toward the center and front of the brow, switch to the lighter shade. Remember to blend with the spoolie as you go to keep everything looking natural.
Archibrow is available in nine shades ranging from blonde to granite black and is now available at Sephora and AnastasiaBeverlyHills.com.
