In a poetic statement about the new Cleansing Mousse, Anderson shared, “I am always inspired to bring my favorite things to the world and to our brand, Sonsie,” she said. “My garden is a place I go to reflect and find peace… part of the ritual that begins my day. I am pleased to kiss this product with best wishes, love and my deep connection to the earth. It’s my natural beauty secret.”
The cleanser’s connection to Anderson’s garden comes down to its ingredients. The formula includes soothing bisabolol and ginger root extract in a proprietary “multi soothing complex” alongside rose essence, inspired by Anderson’s beloved garden. “I start each day when I’m home in my rose garden, so I felt, ‘How do I bring that with me?’” Anderson told WWD. “I do make a rosehip oil and I wanted to bring that into the skin-care line.”
“It’s light enough and nourishing enough where it’s not stripping your face, which was really important to me,” she added in conversation with WWD. “I have super-sensitive skin and my skin has never been better right now without wearing so much makeup and just wearing the products, my skin’s getting better all the time.”
