Despite the rainy weather in California this evening, plenty of our favorite stars still showed up to the red carpet for the 80th annual Golden Globes Awards ready to shine. After taking a hiatus in 2022, the Golden Globes returned this evening and all of the industry’s hottest actors and actresses came back better than ever, turning out tons of looks and giving us all of that classic Hollywood glamour we so dearly missed. Star of Abbott Elementary and now Golden Globe Winner for Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy Series, Quinta Brunson, showed up to the star-studded evening rocking a beautiful, natural yet glamorous look courtesy of Beautyblender products, like this $29 skin tint.
Even though she was rocking a luxurious Christian Siriano gown and a lush, slicked back ponytail, Brunson stepped out onto the Golden Globes carpet flaunting a beauty look that was not to be overlooked. The actress’ makeup artist, Renée Loiz, explained that her goal for crafting Brunson’s look was to combine a soft, flawless complexion with monochromatic berry tones to compliment her gorgeous Siriano look.
Loiz’s secret to giving Brunson such a chic and natural look was Beautyblender’s BOUNCE Always On Radiant Skin Tint ($29) in Deep, which the makeup artist says “was actually a perfect match for Quinta.” To further ensure natural coverage, Loiz also used a wet Beautyblender Makeup Sponge ($20) to blend out the breathable yet long-lasting skin tint.
In order to conceal and highlight, Loiz went in with the brand’s Airbrush Liquid Whip Concealer ($13) in 4.14w, before shaping the and contouring the face with the BOUNCE Magic Fit Creamy Bronzer & Highlight Duo ($32) in Deep Bronze / Chocolate. Loiz explained that she used the Chocolate bronzer for contour and applied the Deep Bronze highlighter on top of the cheekbones, eyelids, and body for an all-over silky-smooth finish.
To finish off the look and tie in the colors of Brunson’s gorgeous gown, Loiz applied some of the BOUNCE Liquid Whip Cream Blush ($22) in Berry to the high apples of the cheeks, lips and eyes to complete the monochromatic, very berry moment.
