If you ask anyone to name their hair care holy grail product, nine out of 10 times the answer will be dry shampoo. It’s completely changed the game when it comes to making second-day-hair presentable, not to mention that it’s a major morning time-saver.
Well, luckily for dry shampoo lovers around the world, celebrity hairstylist and founder of Ouai hair care products, Jen Atkin, is about to drop what might be one of the most innovative dry shampoos to hit the market thus far.

In an Instagram reveal, Atkin announced she’ll be releasing a new product called the Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam, which she dubs as “a quick-drying, waterless cleansing foam that removes oil and product buildup.” Adding that, “like a magic eraser for hair, it creates a blank canvas so you can restyle without shampooing or losing volume.”
When it comes to the main ingredients, Atkin kept it simple. The two key ingredients are called diatomaceous earth (to remove impurities) and panthenol (to hydrate and condition hair). To use, simply shake the can and apply a palmful of product directly to dry hair. Then, massage until it’s completely absorbed and strands are dry.
To be fair, this isn’t the first dry shampoo foam to hit the market, but considering that Atkin’s celebrity clients always rush to snag her products up, we’re confident this latest launch will be just as effective and addictive as her past ones.
The Dry Shampoo Foam will be launching January 13 and will be available on theouai.com.
