Most recently, the pro broke down the secret behind the “Material Girl” hitmaker’s beachy waves, and now we’re itching to try the look ourselves.
Fitzsimons styled Madonna’s long, blonde hair into perfectly imperfect beach waves. Think: a more polished, editorial take on that sun-dried, post-ocean-dip texture we all love. Fitzsimons kindly shared his step-by-step process in the caption of his post, and it’s surprisingly simple. “Firstly I sprayed in @andrewfitzsimonshair AF1 10-In-1 Leave-In Conditioner on her towel-dried hair, then I sprayed a generous amount of Model Volume Wave Spray (the secret-sauce of this look) throughout her hair to amplify her natural wave pattern,” he explained.
“I then simply dried her hair with my @wavytalkofficial Pro Fast-Drying Hairdryer with the diffuser attachment, scrunching her hair every now and then but not disturbing the waves too much until it was dry,” he continued. “Then I raked my fingers through her hair to break the waves up a little bit. Finally I ran a little Fantasy Curls Nourishing Serum throughout to keep her waves healthy and moisturized!”
