Kristen Stewart has had a busy few weeks. The 35-year-old officially got married to her longtime partner back in April, and now she’s hitting the red carpet in France for the 78th Cannes Film Festival. Stewart is at the festival to discuss her directorial debut, The Chronology of Water, so what better way to mark the occasion than with a look that gives a whole new meaning to the word “monochromatic”?
Stewart appeared at the Chronology of Water photocall and was seen wearing a gorgeous light pink, tweed Chanel suit featuring a short-sleeved button down and shorts that she wore underneath a sheer maxi skirt with nude stilettos. We’d argue that the best part of her look is the fact that even her hair matched, as the ends of her strands were dyed baby pink while her roots stayed a brassy blond. The Twilight star styled her hair by pulling it into a messy high bun with a few stray pieces sticking out alongside wavy blunt bangs.
This is one of a handful of times that Stewart has played around with her hair color in the last few months, and it’s been at least a few years since we’ve last seen her as anything other than brunette. Back in January, for example, she ditched her chocolate brunette hair color in favor of a platinum blond shade. There’s no telling how long she’s expecting to keep this new ombré pink color, but hopefully it’s here to stay for a while.
