It may be the beginning of February, but Kelsea Ballerini brought the sunshine to tonight’s Grammy Awards.
Dressed in a custom-made bright-yellow Prabal Gurung gown, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter and nominee glowed on the red carpet, posting that she was “never taking it off.”
Also on the agenda: A very down-to-earth “springy” makeup look, courtesy of her makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan Fisher, who tagged it as “radiant.”
Using a full CoverGirl lineup for the CoverGirl, Deenihan Fisher posted a setup that included two shades (540 Light + 560 Medium) in the Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation ($7), a lightweight, hydrating foundation that’s suitable for sensitive skin.
As Ballerini shared with us last year, she was a long-time user of the drugstore brand before she became a spokesperson because “it’s makeup that meets you where you’re at…it’s accessible, it’s affordable, and it’s easy to figure out how to apply it.”
“To begin Kelsea’s eyeshadow, I used the first shade, a light, shimmering nude, from the CoverGirl Clean Fresh Clean Color Eyeshadow Palette 212 Shimmering Beige ($14) across the lid and up to the brow bone. These eyeshadows are designed to be applied with your fingers and are easily blendable, but apply beautifully with brushes as well,” Deenihan Fisher shared. “Then, starting on the lid and blending up just above the crease, I applied the third shade, a warm pinkish brown, from the CoverGirl Clean Fresh Clean Color Eyeshadow Palette 222 Dreamy Pink to bring in some warmth.
To finish her look, we chose CoverGirl Exhibitionist Crème Lipstick in 505 Burnt Red Pepper ($8). I love this lipstick not only because the color is beautiful, but because the formula is moisturizing and long lasting—perfect for all night wear!”
