Every celebrity has their workout of choice, from taking long walks to hour-long HIIT sessions with their personal trainers. In Kate Upton’s case, she prefers to take the training underwater.

Last week, Upton’s trainer, Ben Bruno, shared two videos of the supermodel’s training regimen, and both show her getting a sweat on from the pool. “For most people, pool days mean chilling on the side of the pool,” Bruno says in this caption. “For @kateupton though, the work doesn’t stop. Here’s how we beat the heat and get a workout in at the same time. And by ‘we’, I mean Kate; I’ll usually do a few rounds of the workout with her and then just chill on the side of the pool. The pool workouts look easy, but they’re actually really tough. Here’s a clip of the hand weight circuit and the bar circuit, but we also do a bunch of lower body stuff, and sometimes we’ll bring the KBox or some dumbbells out by the pool and do a mix of weights and pool stuff.”

In the first video, Upton is shown doing a dumbbell workout. “I feel it! My arms—they’re gonna be ripped,” she yells from the pool. In the second video, she is seen rocking a barbell back and forth while jumping up and down. She then transitions to an underwater shoulder press and a bicep curl, as directed by Bruno.

While it’s obvious Upton loves having a trainer in person, she collaborated with him throughout stay-at-home orders too in order to stay tight and toned. “Luckily, I was able to keep up my same routine of Strong4Me Fitness workouts in my home,” she previously told NewBeauty. “Strong4Me is an at-home fitness program that I created with Ben Bruno that can be achieved in under 30 minutes a day, at home or on the go with minimal equipment.”
