So, consider us thrilled that Kaia Gerber, the 23-year-old style icon and daughter of Cindy Crawford, just spilled her favorite nail salon in the Big Apple in a video interview with Vogue. If you’re craving a manicure that’s as chic as Gerber herself, her go-spot, JINsoon, is a must-visit.
And she’s not the only fan. JINsoon has long been a staple in the fashion world. Founder Jin Soon Choi made a name for herself in editorial and advertising campaigns in the late ’90s and soon became a backstage fixture at the biggest runway shows. Over the years, she’s expanded her reach with not just one but three JINsoon salons across NYC and her eponymous JINsoon Nail Lacquer line, which she launched in 2012, has become a favorite among nail enthusiasts, editors and professionals alike.
Now, back to Gerber’s JINsoon visit. She didn’t go alone—she was joined by Marc Jacobs and the duo indulged in pedicures. Jacobs took things to the next level with ultra-long “old-school” acrylics, telling Gerber during their spa session that he gets them because he “loves to f–k with gender.” While they sadly didn’t share details about their pedicure colors or exact services, both were spotted with nail basins full of flower petals, which, according to the salon’s service menu, sounds like the luxurious Flower Petal Float.
