If there’s anything we can always count on Jennifer Lopez for, it’s having a great manicure no matter what the occasion. The singer is used to serving up nail inspiration pretty much everywhere she goes, so when she hosted and performed at the 2025 American Music Awards on May 26 and showed up wearing a silver futuristic manicure, we added her latest look to our summer nail mood board almost immediately.

Lopez’s longtime nail artist, Tom Bachik, shared a close-up photo of the manicure to Instagram on the night of the Las Vegas event. “So much variety [and] so much sparkle,” he wrote in the caption. “Jen’s performance look is a futuristic crystal covered circuit board.” Honestly, we couldn’t think of a better way to describe it.

Bachik also shared a few details about how the manicure came together. Per the caption, he prepped the star’s nails using the Tweezerman Glass Nailcare Set ($26), and followed that by attaching medium-length gel extensions to her nails since, according to him, she’s loving wearing her nails longer these days. “Jen’s loving a longer nail right now but not too long we have a performance to do,” he wrote.

Next, he painted the nails using the Aprés Astral Gel Couleur ($15) in the shade “Santo My Palo,” which is a warm glittery shade. JLo’s AMAs wardrobe featured several outfit changes, including a shimmery catsuit that was decorated from head to toe with gems and a silver cutout dress with a fringe skirt, so the manicure was obviously just over the top enough to match her fashions for the night. Take a closer look at the manicure below.
