Celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik has been Jennifer Lopez’s go-to manicurist for a decade now, but it’s safe to say that the nail expert is getting more recognition now, following the announcement of the singer’s engagement to Alex Rodriguez, than ever.
“I saw [the engagement photo] probably minutes after it got posted on Instagram,” Bachik told WWD. “I texted [Lopez] directly and said, ‘So excited for you guys, congratulations.’ She wrote back, ‘Thanks, we’re so happy — and the nails look great, too.’ I wanted to see them but I didn’t want to ruin the moment.”

But Bachik wasn’t the only one zooming in on the manicure—and ring—to get a closer look. Upon guessing what white, beige, maybe light pink shade the polish could be, we found out from the manicurist himself. “The color I used on Jen is called “Daisy” by The Gel Bottle,” Bachik told us today.
