For quite some time, Gwyneth Paltrow’s goop, her brainchild and lifestyle brand, was the talk of the town. From her holistic approach to beauty and the brand’s clean girl aesthetic, all things goop led the beauty landscape pre-pandemic. Lately, though, things have been quiet on the Paltrow front, but that’s about to change. The brand just announced the launch of its first-ever retinol product, aiming to put the business “back in growth mode.”

Goop’s 3x Regenerative Retinol Serum: What to Expect

After a long restructuring period, Gwyneth Paltrow’s goop is officially back. The announcement of its 3x Regenerative Retinol Serum marks an official new beginning for the viral brand. Focusing its attention on clinical trials and research, goop has developed its 3x Regenerative Retinol Serum—a proprietary blend of granactive retinoid, encapsulated retinol and retinal, ceramide NP, benthi plant peptide and an array of natural extracts. Clinical trials have shown a 100 percent success rate in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

As Paltrow told WWD, this new launch puts the brand “back in growth mode,” after years of restructuring. “After COVID[-19], we spent quite a long time dodging bullets, treading water and being as agile as possible,” Paltrow told the outlet. “Last year we started to see huge growth in our beauty business again, and that’s carrying on to this year.” Goop’s 3x Regenerative Retinol Serum retails for $150 and launches this Sunday online and in-store at goop.
