Recent data shows more than 73 percent of U.S. shoppers are planning on buying holiday gifts online this year. And while cozy clothing and at-home essentials are appreciated more than ever, what’s a fleet of presents without at least one beauty buy?

Understanding how difficult it is to purchase color cosmetics without testing and swatching in-person, Google has rolled out an innovative new feature that allows users to try on products at home before buying. In partnership with data partners ModiFace and Perfect Corp, the feature goes further than just placing a shade of lipstick onto your face—it also allows users to accurately understand everything from the color payoff of an eyeshadow formula to experiencing the texture of a lipstick.

To use the feature, simply search for an applicable eyeshadow or lipstick—cult-favorite brands including L’Oreal, MAC Cosmetics, Black Opal and Charlotte Tilbury are currently included in the lineup—and browse. You can also virtually try on these products straight from the Google app.
