Longoria's comprehensive wellness routine is one we can all take inspiration from. "I'm cold-plunging; I've got red lights on; I strength train with weights; I meditate; I'm journaling," she says. "I wake up with the sun; I'm doing the grounding; I have an Oura ring to track deep sleep; I'm taking magnesium and other supplements; I'm doing everything." But as intense as her regimen sounds, Longoria insists she’s doing it all "not because I don't want to age but because I do want to age." (We love that empowering perspective.)
"For me, age is just a number, but I'm excited," Longoria continued in the interview. "I refuse to believe my greatest success is behind me." But this perspective hasn't always been her guiding mantra. She recalls a makeup artist years ago urging her to embrace sexy roles and photoshoots then, suggesting these opportunities might feel different over time. "She went, 'Honey, do them now,'" Longoria reflected. "'Because you're not going to do them when you're 50.'"
Though the comment stuck with her, Longoria didn’t let it shape her choices. Now, with 50 on the horizon, she’s confident in her stance: "I’m like, ‘I would totally do that photo shoot at 50,'" she says.
