PSA: Luxury beauty products are not as out of reach as you’ve been led to believe. If, like me, you’ve ever glanced at the price tag of skin care or makeup and thought “no way,” you’re in the right place. In the world of designer beauty brands, it can be hard to find the more affordable gems, but they’re there. And with the same ethos driving designers whether they make a $300 product or a $30 one, you can be confidant the quality lives up to their status.

When I set out to research the best designer beauty products under $50, I thought I’d have trouble filling the list, but to my pleasant surprise there are so many stunning options, it was hard to narrow it down. From lipsticks and blushes to dry shampoo, these are 16 designer beauty products that are sure to impress.

Augustinus Bader x Sofia Coppola The Tinted Balm ($43)

Augustinus Bader’s roster of celebrity fans is long. (Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, Emily Blunt and Rosamund Pike quickly come to mind.) Now add Sofia Coppola to the list. The director teamed up with the luxe brand for a just-launched, under-$50 tinted lip balm powered by the brand’s proprietary TFC8—the same formula behind their cult-classic $300 moisturizer.

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks ($48)

Speaking of celebrity-loved, Westman Atelier is a brand Anne Hathaway, Greta Lee, Naomi Watts, Jennifer Garner and Elle MacPherson all back. It’s also a beauty-editor favorite. “I tried this blush a little over a year ago and haven’t looked back,” says senior beauty editor Allie Hogan. “It provides a flush of color that adds a dynamic to my complexion, rosacea and all, that makes me feel more confident. The magic behind the stick is celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman, who herself has rosacea. She aims to create skin care–based makeup so it never feels heavy and always feels hydrating.”

Valentino Liquirosso 2 in 1 Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick & Blush ($40)

Little Women star Florence Pugh has boasted about her “favorite lippie” repeatedly over the years. When interviewed by Vogue last year, Pugh divulged how she was “assigned” Liquirosso on a campaign shoot and then it “ended up actually being in every single one of my handbags.” In March of this year, it was still in her purse, as Pugh showed off during a “What’s In My Bag” with British Vogue. “Even when I look crap or hungover or don’t have any other makeup on, it’s on,” she says.
