At just 28 years old, Jessie James Decker has the labels of wife, mother of two, singer (her newest single “Lights Down Low” is available now), TV personality, fashion designer and beauty guru under her belt, and is handling them all with ease. And while Decker already shares her favorite health, wellness and makeup tips with her fans on her YouTube channel, we couldn’t just stop there. Here, what the gorgeous do-it-all mom keeps tucked away in her bag all day.

NewBeauty: As we speak, what’s packed away in your makeup bag?

NB: If you had to pick one beauty product to keep with you at all times, what would it be and why?
JJD: “Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer ($34) in number 7. I don’t sleep very much because my babies like to get up in the middle of the night and then again at 7 a.m. This covers up those mommy bags and dark circles!”
NB: Anything your fans would be surprised to know you carry around?
JJD: “Dental floss sticks. I am an avid flosser.”
NB: What’s your favorite on-the-go snack you keep on hand?
JJD: “Bobos Oat Bars ($36 for 12) are so yummy!”
NB: Let’s talk about that hair—do you tote any products around to keep it looking perfect?
JJD: “I carry a few things around. First, I usually have my Fave4 Mini Texture Takeover ($12) with me so I always have big hair. I also carry my hair perfume, bless your hair ($24), to keep my hair smelling good—oh, and of course a teasing comb.”
NB: What’s one thing you wish you could carry around with you all day?
JJD: “Rick, my hairstylist from Nine Zero One, and my makeup artist Jess Southern.”
NB: What’s the one app you can’t live without?
JJD: “Instagram!”
NB: Top five people you love to follow on social media?
JJD: “@Edeck87, @Mamakarenparker, @Sydneyraeface, @Kittenishstore and @Hoenest.”
NB: Any jet-setting essentials you can’t live without?
JJD: “Chapstick and my computer, and always wear leggings and sports bras when travel. I want to be as comfortable as possible. I also always pack little snacks and face spray to keep my skin hydrated.”
NB: What’s the best piece of traveling advice you’ve received and would like to share?
JJD: “Pack lightly. If I’m anywhere a week or less, I carry on. I can fit everything I need in one small bag! And I pack small, mini liquids so TSA doesn’t make me throw anything out.”
