For most of us, a good moisturizer is non-negotiable, especially if you’re over 30. That youthful, dewy bounce just isn’t the same as it once was. All that life you’ve lived starts to show a bit more. That’s why I need a cream that goes above and beyond basic moisturizing. So when Molly Sims sent me her new YISE Beauty Xtremely Quenched Moisturizer, a multitasker designed with exactly that idea in mind, I was excited to give it a go. Here’s my honest review.
The Benefits of YISE Beauty Xtremely Quenched Moisturizer
When I say multitasking, I mean that it offers the benefits of a hydrating serum, a barrier cream, a glow product, a makeup primer and a firming treatment in one step. Sims says the idea came from years of watching makeup artists prep her skin. “I spent decades in makeup chairs learning that great makeup starts with great skin! The trick is getting that perfect balance of hydration and grip...and I could never find one moisturizer that did BOTH. So, I made one.”
While the silky-smooth formula does give my skin a bit of grip and create a nice base for makeup, I also love the way it immediately makes my skin feel softer and more hydrated. This is thanks to the key ingredients: four types of hyaluronic acid, multiple peptides and a skin-identical ceramide. Other ingredients lending a supporting role are glycerin, panthenol, murumuru butter and centella asiatica. It also gives me a visible glow, but not in a greasy way.

“If your makeup isn't sitting the way it used to, your first instinct might be to change your foundation,” Sims says. “Sometimes you actually need to change what's underneath it. At this point, I know exactly how I want my skin to look: hydrated, plump, bouncy and expensive. Xtremely Quenched gives me that instantly, but it’s also doing the work to support my skin barrier. I mean, this product is loaded with peptides. I want the immediate gratification and the long game. Why should we have to choose?”
Though the brand recommends applying it twice a day, I prefer morning because it does function so well under makeup. Give it a minute or so to dry down before applying sunscreen or makeup. I’ve also used it at night (and it works well), but I tend to lean toward richer night creams for my dry skin.
The Bottom Line
As a busy mom on the go, Sims created a multitasking product that truly delivers. If you’re someone who wants to streamline your skin-care routine, this is the kind of moisturizer that lets you pare back without feeling like you're giving anything up. You get hydration, a visible bounce, peptides, barrier support and a healthy glow in one formula—and who doesn’t want that?
