The Fenty Beauty mogul, known for her fearless style, bid adieu to her signature honey blonde locks and embraced a vibrant bubblegum pink hue. Just 48 hours before her highly anticipated appearance at the MET Gala, she unveiled her striking new look in Miami, where she was supporting her partner A$AP Rocky's new Puma collaboration.
The 36-year-old singer wore a black silk dress with an off-the-shoulder silhouette and corseted waistline during the weekend. She honored her boyfriend by wearing a glittering necklace with a giant diamond pendant bearing his first initial. She was wearing a pair of pink sneakers that perfectly matched her hair and her boyfriend was wearing a motor-inspired shirt and jean shorts, pairing his look with neon green and gray shoes.
Rihanna's hair was having a moment as she styled it with extra-bouncy waves. She topped it off with flushed cheeks, soft rose-color eyeshadow, pink lips and a red manicure.
We'd like to know if her pink hair will have a moment at the MET Gala. She exclusively tells Extra during the launch of her new Fenty Beauty Soft'lit Foundation, that she wants to keep it very simple. "I'm actually just keeping it real simple this year," Rihanna tells Extra. "I think it's gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do. We wanna play with that, but I have no idea what I'm gonna do with that."
The odds are looking good for a pink-hair moment at the MET, as she showed off her rosy hair stepping out in New York City wearing an all-black, low-key ensemble today. The singer covered her eyes with oversized sunglasses and rocked a no-makeup look to show off her radiant skin.
The 2024 MET Gala theme is "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," and the dress code would be "The Garden of Time" based on J.G. Ballard's 1962 short story. The event will be co-chaired by powerhouses Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez and Bad Bunny.
