If you’re anything like us you find yourself going through claw clips quicker than you’d like to. Whether we drop them, snap them or our hair is just too much for their dainty size, claw clips are not usually great quality and have trouble holding up to day-to-day wear and tear. Recently, Scunci created an Unbreakable line of hair products with new technology, and they really put them to the test.
To confirm these new claw clips were really up for the challenge Scunci put them through a series of studies. Most of the clips in the new line were able to withstand accidental dropping, and stepping on and tested with at least 200 pounds.
Some of the Scunci claw clips could even withstand more weight—350 pounds of compression to be exact. This includes the Open Cut set ($6) and Black and tortoiseshell set ($6). The single tortoiseshell claw clip ($5) and Chunky Fat set ($6) have the ability to twist more than 90 degrees, pass 2,000 cycles of opening and closing and can be dropped over 10.5 meters.
