How You Can Remove Unsightly Veins With Just One Shot

This is what works.

SpiderVeins

You may have legs for miles, but their appearance can be affected if you also have spider or varicose veins—the more pronounced, dark and bulgy veins that look unattractive, but pose no harm to your health. “Spider and varicose veins may be unsightly, but they are not usually a problem medically,” says Richmond, VA, plastic surgeon Ruth Hillelson, MD.

If these veins still bother you, there are some things you can do to get rid of them. Varicose (the larger and thicker type) and spider (the smaller ones) veins can be easily corrected by using, “injections or techniques such as radio frequency, after an appropriate evaluation,” says Dr. Hillelson. A solution of polidocanol is injected into the veins, and as the solution goes to work, the veins instantly collapse. It usually takes one to two treatments to fully eradicate them, but once they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
