While you may not expect it from looking at her, March 19 marked Glenn Close's 77th birthday, and the Connecticut-born actress is living proof that beauty is ageless. To celebrate her birthday, Close took to Instagram to share with followers some silly, heart-warming and beautiful makeup-free selfies.
Glenn Close Goes Makeup-Free for 77th Birthday
In a carousel of images sporting silly faces—from lips puckered to tongue out—Close posed makeup-free, showing off her radiant, freckled skin and naturally textured gray strands. As if her happy and carefree poses weren't joyous enough, her candid caption sealed the deal.
"I think this is going to be a particularly GOOD day," Close wrote in the caption. She went on to acknowledge the slight purple hue seen on the bridge of her nose, noting, "Ignore the bruises. I had a tiny break in my nose fixed." To round out her wholesome post, Close made a comment on how she's feeling entering her 77th year: "Feeling as beautiful as ever."
