According to celebrity stylist and Great Lengths ambassador, Marc Mena, bunny bangs are a more playful take on fringe. "Bunny bangs refer to a cute, soft and often shorter fringe that is styled to look playful and natural, resembling the soft, wispy look of a bunny’s fur around the face," Mena explains. "They are typically cut just above or slightly below the eyebrows and have a fluffy texture, creating a light, airy feel."

Alongside the airy fringe cut, this look typically comes with face-framing pieces that look a bit like droopy bunny ears. These pieces add visual interest and draw attention to your eyes. This low-maintenance look is also similar to the trending Birkin bangs. The difference is a more defined, blunt overall look, balanced with that airy texture. All in all, the effect should be something that looks fluffy.

“Think of a fringe that has a playful, bouncy or fluffy texture, almost like the softness of bunny fur," Mena adds.

If you're looking for celebrity inspo posts, Zendaya is a great choice. She has returned to the bunny bangs style time and time again throughout her many hairstyles. From her blonde Challengersera last spring all the way back to the early days of Euphoria's first press tour, she's been a big fan of the face-framing pieces and wispy fringe that make bunny bangs unique.

How to Get the Look

We know not everyone keeps up with the sheer volume of bangs trends. If your stylist isn't familiar with bunny bangs, don't worry!

"I would say that I want a soft, wispy fringe that’s shorter and lighter than regular bangs, ideally a bit above the eyebrows, with a natural, slightly tousled look" Mena advises.
