The Best New Beauty Products to Try This Month
Launch List: The Best New Beauty Products in July
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Lift + Sculpt ($85)
Formulated with the brand's exclusive and patented Tripeptide-32 Night Peptide technology and hexapeptide-8, this new eye cream provides "targeted transformation in four eye dimensions: the eyelid, inner corner, crow’s-feet and undereye." "We’re thrilled to introduce our latest breakthrough in the iconic Advanced Night Repair franchise and a true derm-advanced eyelift in a bottle," says Jennifer Palmer, senior vice president of global innovation development & science leadership for Estée Lauder. "This powerful innovation is inspired by the multidimensional approach taken by dermatologists and brings our expertise to the eye area with clinically tested, visible results in four weeks. And in a first-of-its-kind clinical trial, it targeted both dynamic and static lines by reducing the look of existing lines and helping to prevent new ones from forming. ANR Eye Lift + Sculpt leaves the eye area sculpted, lifted, well-rested and redefined."

Sarah Creal Beauty No Further Questions High Glide Peptide Lip Gloss ($40)
Available in six flattering shades, this lip gloss is equal parts chic and cushiony. "I’ve been a lip gloss freak for decades—it is my lip formula of choice!" says founder Sarah Creal. "Developing [this one] took me 24(!) lab submissions and a week of working face to face with incredibly talented cosmetic chemists in Italy to get it exactly right. The goal? First, to create a formula that you would absolutely LOVE to apply all the time—boasting incredible glide, high shine, soft cushion, the best colors. But like an incredible sports car, what is under the hood, so to speak, is just as important as the shiny outside. To get there, I loaded our formula with two types of peptides to smooth the look of lines, infused it with an algae extract that pumps up hydration, and chose esters—which are moisturizers—that give an amazing bouncy slip with no tackiness. The key to a luxury gloss is to have the perfect balance of color, cushion, care and adhesion—because no one wants a gloss that’s thin and travels into fine lines! This formula is unapologetically EVERYTHING you crave, all at once! I’m obsessed, and hope you will be too!"

Deborah Pagani Beauty The Essential Nectar ($89)
If you're a hair guru, you know about Deborah Pagani's beloved French hair pin beloved by celebs, and just about everyone else). A former celeb hair colorist and jewelry designer (what can't she do?), Pagani's new venture goes even deeper into the beauty scene. One of her two new products, this ultra-luxurious hair serum is designed to hydrate, strengthen and repair all hair types using hyaluronic acid, squalane and guava extract. Plus, we can't get enough of the rich, distinctive, gourmand scent created in collaboration with one of the fragrance industry's most sought-after perfumers, Jérôme Epinette.
“I wanted to disrupt the industry that I have been a part of for so long, so I created true, luxury products that do not cut corners on ingredients, experience or results," says founder Deborah Pagani. "[This brand] is all about ushering in a new evolution of unapologetic luxury. You truly get that iconic, indulgent experience, now with clean, effective ingredients and a fragrance that is unlike any other. You will just have to try it for yourself.”

Drunk Elephant Amino Rain Glasswater Serum ($58)
Glass skin in a bottle, this opalescent serum is incredibly lightweight, deeply hydrating and blends in like a dream. Over time, it also helps improve elasticity, firmness and barrier function as well. In a clinical/instrumental study, the serum provided a 115-percent immediate increase in skin hydration, and it lasted for 24 hours. Additionally, in a separate clinical study, it proved to firm the skin and improve radiance in four weeks. "Striking a balance of hydration in a sophisticated way fascinated me. That’s how Amino Rain began: hydrating drops with an iridescent glow. I fell so in love with it that we made it into a full-size serum," says founder Tiffany Masterson. "We packed it with innovative, nontraditional actives, like amino acid–derived ingredients, peptides and collagen boosters. We used four types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate every layer of skin and deliver unparalleled firming hydration, but it’s totally weightless. As a result, Amino Rain provides 24-hour hydration while soothing redness and creating a luminous glow that elevates skin’s own radiance. Trust me, you’ll be hooked."

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Foundation ($46)
Available in 40 shades, this highly anticipated 24 hour–wear foundation combines the smoothing, blurring, non-acnegenic power of the brand's best-selling POREfessional line with medium-coverage pigment for a natural-matte finish. But, don't think that means it's drying. The formula contains 84-percent skin-care ingredients (niacinamide, rose hip, glycerin, etc.) and provides 24-hour hydration as well. In clinical testing, 97 percent of users said their bare skin was smoother after four weeks of use.

Anastasia Beverly Hills HydraPrime SPF 50 ($48)
A silky sunscreen and primer in one, this is the formula that will make you want to wear SPF this summer. It preps skin for makeup (and UV rays) while also hydrating, blurring and smoothing with niacinamide, ectoin and beet root. Honestly, it makes skin look and feel so good, you probably won't need makeup on top. Clinical testing on 32 women proves its ability to also help reduce fine lines, and improve texture and tone. Plus, it boosts moisture levels in the skin by 57 percent. Though it's great for all skin types, this is one we'd highly recommend for dry or mature skin. "HydraPrime has no white cast, so it's great for all skin tones," says aesthetician Sean Garrette. "It's hydrating, lightweight and gives the skin a radiant finish. And, it doesn't pill under makeup. It's literally perfect. I'm obsessed."

Trademark Beauty Hot Rod Thermal Brush ($59)
Celebrity hairstylist Joseph Maine's new tool is finally here, and she's a really good one. Available in both black and the brand's signature pink, this hot round brush uses a combination of infrared and ionic technologies to smooth frizz, boost shine and add volume for salon-worthy blowouts at home. Just twist and glide it through dry hair.
“After two years, 11 different prototypes and countless refinements, we have finally perfected the ultimate thermal brush—one that delivers professional results effortlessly," says Maine. "Whether you're looking to smooth, volumize or shape your hair, this thermal brush is designed to make blowouts faster, easier and healthier for your hair. This tool is the future of at-home styling, bridging the gap between professional results and everyday convenience.”

Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Longwear Cream Eyeshadow ($25)
For those who love a creamy eyeshadow that won't crease, this gorgeous matte formula is one to try. Infused with amino acids and silky, spherical powders that smooth the skin, it glides on like silk (we love the doe-foot applicator) and stays put until you wash it off (it lasts through sweat and humidity). Choose from 10 shades, including a well-curated mix of nudes, soft pink, browns, gray and black. (The nude-pink shade Sandstone is pictured here.) “My cream shadows deliver a diffused and softly sculpted eye with a single swipe," says founder and celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, who recommends applying one shade all over the eyelid or building the look with multiple shades to create dimension. "It's my signature eye at your fingertips—an effortless, elevated eye look that lasts all day."

Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX Eye Temporary Eye Tightener-Easy Wear Formula ($38)
You know the OG formula (Instant FIRMx Eye Temporary Eye Tightener), which just about broke the internet when TikTok discovered it in 2021. (It originally launched in 2011.) But, it wasn't a perfect fit for everyone. Now, there's another formula joining the brand's lineup, and it features some key changes. "Now my customers have two eye tighteners to choose from," says founder Peter Thomas Roth. "I was thrilled with the viral response to the original, and it continues to be very popular! However, if you’re new to skin-tightening products or have difficulty applying them, my new easy-wear formula is perfect for you. My new eye tightener provides clinically proven results in a user-friendly formula. It’s easy to apply and comfortable to wear, so everyone can use it and everyone can look fabulous! The sheer-tinted formula blends seamlessly onto all skin types and tones, neutralizing any white cast while instantly reducing the appearance of under-eye bags, fine lines, deep wrinkles and crow’s-feet. The temporary effect can last all day, and the formula can be worn under makeup without pilling or pulling—brilliant!"

Dyson Airwrap Coanda 2x ($699)
For those of you who swear by your Airwrap for salon-worthy blowouts at home, there's now a smaller, lighter, more powerful version. But, it's also the brand's most expensive hair tool to date. Available in the brand's fan-favorite Ceramic Pink, as well as Jasper Plum, which launched earlier this year, the multitasking styling tool features a new Hyperdymium 2 motor, which allows it to deliver twice the air pressure and 30-percent more power for "better curling, faster drying and sleeker, straighter styles—with no heat damage." Plus, it offers a solution for all hair types, and you can choose from a set with six attachments curated for straight hair, wavy or curly hair, or coily hair. There are also two new attachments: AirSmooth2x, which uses high-velocity airflow and auto-release arms to smooth and straighten, and an upgraded Anti-snag Loop Brush 2x. This one has been redesigned with patented loop and hook bristles for improved control as you style.

Shani Darden Retinol Reform 1% Encapsulated Retinol ($75)
The product that put aesthetician to the stars Shani Darden's skin-care line on the map, RetinolReform, just got a makeover, and we're obsessed. “I developed Retinol Reform as a powerful yet gentle alternative to traditional retinoids," says Darden. "This upgraded formula pairs the latest encapsulated retinol technology with a skin-refining tripeptide and natural exfoliator to deliver real results: smoother, brighter, more youthful-looking skin, without the irritation.” This was a power move, as more consumers (especially those with sensitive skin) are looking for gentler retinol formulas, but don't want to compromise on efficacy. This enhanced version is clinically proven to brighten and even skin tone, smooth texture and reveal a more youthful appearance in as little as two weeks.

Exoceuticals EXO ACTIVATE Follicle Enrichment Serum ($89)
The brand's foray into hair care, this advanced serum was designed for those experiencing excess hair shedding and/or thinning. Rooted in innovative exosome technology, it helps enrich the hair follicles, boost scalp vitality, and improve the appearance of hair density and thickness. Use it three or four times a week on dry hair, and expect to see results in about eight weeks (though you will most likely notice a more comfortable scalp and less shedding before then). “This is a very unique and powerful formula, which contains both types of our patented exosomes, along with biomimetic peptides and other active ingredients," says cofounder and regenerative medicine doctor Robin Smith, MD. "It focuses on optimizing the environment to support the hair follicle and scalp health which, together, provide a foundation for strong and healthy hair growth and retention. We expect a very strong reaction from our customers and the many women and men who are suffering from hair thinning and excessive loss.”

ILIA Beauty Soft Focus Blurring Blush ($36)
There aren't a ton of powder blushes I'd recommend for dry or aging skin, but this feather-soft, skincare–infused one is a gem. And on the other hand, it's also a great option for oily skin types. To achieve the weightless texture and blurred finish (a big trend right now), the brand chose to start the formula as a cream and bake it on terracotta tiles. "I wanted to create an ethereal softness," says founder Sasha Plavsic. "I’m still a graphic designer at heart and was inspired by the Gaussian blur filter effect to bring to life this diffused, soft-focus flush of color. This is our first-ever powder blush, and it was important to me to create a powder that doesn’t emphasize skin texture, while allowing for subtle, buildable pigment.” It comes in eight shades—my personal favorites are Closer and Glimpse—and it's clinically proven to smooth skin, blur pores and delivers color that lasts all day.

Pureology Hydrate Glow Catcher Oil ($34)
Hair oils are having a big moment right now, as brands have discovered new ways to formulate them without the grease factor (IYKYK). This lightweight option provides deep hydration, frizz control and a big boost in shine, while also serving as a heat protectant (up to 450 degrees). It's a no-brainer for those with dry and/or frizzy that needs a little extra taming.
"My favorite part of this oil is how universal and layerable it is," says celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell, the brand's global artistic ambassador. "This is a foundational product for every hair type. It not only delivers amazing shine, but also instant softness and heat protection. "
