The beginning of award season is upon us and with it a feast for the eyes. Between gorgeous gowns and expertly executed glam, our favorite stars look like walking pieces of art. On the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet we’re seeing both sides of the spectrum when it comes to hair—sculptural, intentional hairstyles and undone, unbothered beachy textures. These are some of the hairstyles that stood out to us at the 2026 Gold Globe Awards.

The Best Hairstyles at the 2026 Golden Globes

Ayo Edebiri

Ayo Edebiri has been serving the chicest styles with her bob lately. One of the looks that continuously suits her best is the voluminous layered '90s bob. It’s also the perfect style to pair with an off-the-shoulder dress moment.

Justine Lupe

The Nobody Wants This and Succession star went with long, undone blonde waves that, when paired with her tulle dress, made her look like a garden fairy. Celebrity Hairstylist, Barb Thompson says she drew inspiration from the beach to create a style that felt both intentional and ethereal using BELLAMI 22’’ Silk Seam Extensions in “Golden Hour Blonde Balayage”.

Sheryl Lee Ralph

Abbott Elementary star and recent NewBeauty digital cover star Sheryl Lee Ralph achieved some of the most enviable volume on the red carpet. The slicked down front with a braided headband moment makes the sky-high volume even more striking.

Selena Gomez

We’re a sucker for an old Hollywood glam moment on the red carpet, and Selena Gomez delivered the whole package with a sculptural bob that wouldn’t look out of place in Mad Men, a dark, moody lip and, of course, feathers.

Audrey Nuna

Singer Audrey Nuna from KPop Demon Hunters went bold for the Golden Globes with a net face veil, a black lip and artfully arranged braids that seemed to defy gravity. We're bookmarking this look for the next time we're trying to make a statement.

Hailee Steinfeld

Sinners is set in 1932, when hair was typically very flat, short and worn close to the head. I love the deep waves of the 1930s, but they were usually quite controlled and minimal,” notes celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons. “Hailee’s dress is so beautiful—very chic but also sexy—so I wanted to reference a 1930s wave while loosening it slightly. We kept it close to the head, but made it more relaxed with a deep side part.” To get the look, Fitzsimons used BELLAMI Silk Seam Clip-In’s in Dark Honey Cocoa, ghd hair tools and sprays from his own brand.

Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor’s signature pixie cut was all dressed up for the Golden Globes. “When I’m creating a look, I use products that make the art come alive while taking care of the hair itself,” says celebrity hairstylist Nikki Nelms. For this look she used SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Define and Shine Styling Gel ($10) and SheaMoisture Coconut and Hibiscus Smoothing Oil ($14) to support the hair health while making the style last.

Jennifer Garner

Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel was going for a “’90s supermodel blowout—full, bouncy, and timeless” and achieved it using Virtue products, like Virtue Healing Oil, and Denman tools. The deep side part, voluminous roots and caramel color made this look like a big win in our book.

Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson’s most iconic hairstyle is her messy ‘90s updo, but at the 2026 Golden Globes, the star opted for a sleeker, more put-together take on an updo. Anderson perfectly paired a chic French twist and swooping bang with her new laid-back look.

Rose Byrne

Only former NewBeauty digital cover star Rose Byrne could make a side bang look timeless. Her chic lob with curved-in ends was sleek with just enough feathering in the bangs and layers to add personality and movement to the look.
