17 Natural Cosmetics We Love

When it comes to choosing makeup, the possibilities are endless. But have you considered all your options? “Natural ingredients found in cosmetics have many beneficial properties. Look for ingredients like jojoba oil, vitamin C and aloe,” says cosmetic chemist Kelly Dobos. “Jojoba oil is an excellent moisturizer because it contains lipids similar to those naturally found in skin. Vitamin C is great for anti-aging and brightening the skin and aloe has soothing and anti-irritant properties.”

From brow pencils to blush, we’ve rounded up 17 editor-approved products that are not only natural, but are also as good for your skin as they are for the Earth.

This is fantastic! I have problem skin with a lot of purple scarring. This foundation covers very well with the brush designed to use with it. I use 4-5 drops, which is considerably less than I use with Shiseido, Lancome, and my current second favorite foundation - Revlon Colorstay. I use Dermablend professional covercream on the worst discoloration before applying Bareskin. The Bareskin blends concealer beautifully to my bare skin, and looks clean and healthy. I then set it all with either ELF Studio High Definition powder (cheap! try it!) or Revlon Colorstay powder. I could not be happier with the Bareskin foundation and brush combo.
