If you love Succession as much as I do, you’re also inevitably a fan of the show’s Sarah Snook. From her iconic lines to her signature side-parted bob, I think we can all agree that watching Shiv Roy was one of the highlights of the four seasons of Succession drama. (Yes, I have a Shiv Roy tee shirt and yes, I’m wearing it right now.)

As the 36-year-old actress and first-time mom took to the silver carpet for tonights 75th Annual Emmy Awards, though, Snook stepped outside of her minimalist Roy persona and into a gorgeous, Old Hollywood–inspired red ball gown that was complimented perfectly by her monochromatic, bronzey makeup look.

The Products Behind Snook’s Brown-Centered Glam

For her makeup base, Blunder created a bit of a foundation concoction, applying Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter ($49) with a flat foundation brush to the high points of Snook’s face before going in with a layer of Koh Gen Do’s Maifanshi Moisture Foundation ($96) all over the face and finishing out with Blunder Cover ($52) “under the eyes and in the T-zone to add coverage and ensure her skin is ready for the camera.”

Next came the eyes, which Blunder used to establish that bronzey, monochromatic vibe. “In order to achieve the bronzed effect, I did a smokey brown/taupe eye,” she says. “I began by tightlining Sarah’s upper lash line with a chocolate brown pencil eyeliner, and then went in with a cream eyeshadow pencil in a shimmery taupe shade along the entire lid. Then to add dimension to the eyelid I went in with shade Matte 4 from the Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Palette ($50). I also added a touch of Matte 8 to the outer crease. And then using a thin angled brush I added Matte 12 to the top and bottom lash line to thicken the eyelashes. To make the eyes pop a bit more, I went in with a slight shimmery taupe brown pencil in the bottom waterline. The last step was to create a baby wing using a chocolate brown liquid eyeliner.”

The most important part of Snook’s bronzed-out look, though, was of course the bronzer. Blunder opted for some of Chanel’s Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream ($60) to create an overall glow across the face, before “sculpting out” her features with some more of the Blunder Cover in shade 6.25. Blunder kept the blush quite neutral, and finished out the look by applying Monika Blunder’s Hot Line Lip Liner ($22) in shade Renae and topped it off with her brand’s Hyaluronic Lip Tint ($26) in shade Sommer for that “natural bitten lip glow.”
