Supermodel Paulina Porizkova Shares Her Diet Secret featured image

We love getting a look into supermodel’s diets, and while most have a very strict veggies-only meal plan, Paulina Porizkova’s way of eating lean is a little bit more on the lenient side.

In a recent Instagram post, Porizkova shares her diet plan, explaining it focuses more on intermittent fasting than the food she’s consuming. “I do the 16/8 diet, which just means that you don’t eat for 16 hours and then you eat for eight,” she says. “I generally take it as I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like food. I tend to like healthier foods, but if I eat a fried chicken, I eat a fried chicken—it’s just the way it is.”

Explaining that the diet fits easily into her lifestyle, the 56 year-old continues: “If you eat dinner, say, at 10 at night, then you just eat 16 hours after 10 p.m., so it’s actually really easy,” she says. “I did get hungry when I first started doing this diet—I kind of obsess about food—but then it sort-of evens out and now I don’t even think about it. In fact, I’m not even hungry until 16 hours later when I do get hungry.”

To break her fast, Porizkova dives into a pre-packaged vegan smoothie from diet-delivery service Splendid Spoon. “They have all different flavors, this specific one is blackberry basil,” she says, holding up the drink. “They also have these soups or noodles or rice, too—they have a whole bunch of stuff. It’s all vegan, it’s really good for you. It’s very healthy and I do this so I can go out to dinner and have whatever I want.”
