They say to never judge a book (or beauty product) by its cover. While I’ve violated this age-old wisdom time and time again (hey, it’s hard to resist a bedazzled compact case!), it’s always a pleasant surprise when you come across a product with packaging that’s equally as fabulous as the product itself. That’s what I found with Nip+Fab.
Nip+Fab is the brainchild of beauty expert and Rodial creator Maria Hatzistefanis who saw a gap in the market for a no fuss, inexpensive and serious skin care line for men and women. This line literally covers every skin care issue you can think of from Eye Fix for tired looking eyes to Cellulite Fix to reduce the appearance of…well, cellulite.
Back to the packaging, what I really like is that it’s crisp and clean, and the colors are fresh and simple. Plus, each product is so clearly labeled, there’s really no question about what each one does.
The brand has a devoted celebrity following too—from Victoria Beckham to Julia Roberts. Even Jennifer Aniston was spotted using Nip+Fab’s Dry Leg Fix ($10) on the set of Wanderlust to keep her legs plump and moisturized. And Kelly Rowland reportedly uses Sheer Make-Up Fix ($15) to even out her skin tone.
I got to try three of their newest products: 365 Body Glow Fix, Stiletto Fix and Upper Arm Fix:
The 365 Body Glow Fix ($13) is a tanning gel that goes on clear and then gives you’re a subtle glow four hours later. Definitely a must-have if you want to fake a sun-kissed look at all of your upcoming holiday parties! Not only is it a tanning gel, but it’s also infused with white tea and vitamin E to help refresh and moisturize your skin. Since I have really fair skin, I did notice that it was a little orange-toned after it fully developed, but not enough to deter me from it.
Stiletto Fix ($10) is perfect for those who tend to have dry feet and is a great product to keep around during the wintertime. It’s also refreshing too. My feet instantly pepped up after applying it, which was nice since I had a long day of walking around. My one hesitation was that the minty smell was a little strong and really smelled like a foot cream. But the good news is that the fragrance wears off after a little while.
If you have flabby arms, but want to avoid going under the knife, Upper Arm Fix ($13) is definitely a great product to try. It contains blue lotus flower to help improve circulation, amarashape to speed up fat breakdown and exfoliactive to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. While it’s not going to drastically slim down your arms, it does help improve their appearance by tightening and smoothing them.
Check out their website to learn more about all of their fabulous products. As for me, I’ve got my eye on their Party Rescue Kit ($32) to try out next!
