NewBeauty editors are always on the hunt for a new mascara that lives up to its claims. But, we don’t all share the same preferences, eye shape or budget. So, whether you are looking for dramatic volume or length, or you’re interested in trying out the tubing mascara trend, this list of new mascara launches has something for everyone. Pick your favorite, and get ready to take your lash game to the next level.

A Mascara for Every Lash Preference

1 / 9

If You Want Longer-Looking Lashes:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Sculpt Mascara ($26)

Stretch your lashes from root to tip with this lengthening, volumizing formula that, as the brand describes, delivers “sexy, extension-effect lashes.” It also strengthens lashes with biotin, and collagen and peptides make them appear fuller.

If You Want a Tubing Mascara:

Westmore Beauty 60 Second Lash Effects Tubing Mascara ($23)

The uniquely short bristles on this brush surprised me at first, but after using this tubing mascara a few times, I realized the design was intentional. If you hold the brush against your lash line before combing it through your lashes, it deposits jet-black color onto your water line, creating an eyeliner effect. It doesn’t irritate my eyes either.

If You Want Dramatic Volume:

Victoria Beckham Beauty Vast Lash Mascara ($32)

Leave it to Posh to create this mega-volume mascara that gives lashes that doll-like look, and holds them there for at least 12 hours. “Vast Lash is not polite—it is major, it is thick, it is powerful—a mascara to push your look,” says founder Victoria Beckham. Plus, you don’t need an oil-based makeup remover to take it off. Water does the trick.

If You Want a Waterproof Mascara:

Revolution Beauty Makeup Revolution 5D Whip Lift Waterproof Mascara ($8)

The brand’s beloved, vegan WhipLift Mascara now comes in a waterproof formula, so you can wear it all day in the summer heat—or party all night—with zero smudging. It also provides a lifting effect, which the twisted vortex–shaped brush helps to deliver.

If You Want a More Natural, Defined Look:

KVD Beauty Full Sleeve Long + Defined Tubing Mascara ($25)

Despite the larger brush size (a first-of-its-kind design with Filigree-inspired hooks), this lightweight mascara gives the lashes a more natural look by defining each individual lash. The brand’s 24-Hour Tat-Tubing technology “wraps every lash like a full-sleeve tattoo” (hence the name).

If You Want a Fanned-Out Look:

Benefit Cosmetics Fan Fest Mascara ($28)

If you hate clumping, this brand-new formula from the mascara gurus at Benefit is one to try. The brush combines long and short bristles that really spread out the lashes for a visible fanning effect. Plus, the brush curves at 40 degrees, which in the brand’s testing, was the perfect angle to hug every eye shape.

If You Want Fuller-Looking Lashes and Have Sensitive Eyes:

Clinique High Impact Hi-Fi Full Volume Mascara ($27)

Available in black and black-brown (brown mascara is still trending this year), this ophthalmologist-tested formula is safe for those with sensitive eyes. In addition to volumizing the lashes by depositing black nylon fibers among them, it also offers big lash-conditioning benefits with the addition of coconut, argan and moringa oils.

If You Want a Mascara and Lash Serum in One:

Babe Original 4Real Mascara ($15)

We’ve been fans of Babe Original’s Lash Serum since we first tried it a few years ago, so it makes sense that the brand formulated this mascara to include nourishing benefits. The combination of apple stem cells, olive stem cells, shea butter, and castor seed oil takes this mascara to a treatment level. And at just $15, it’s a total steal!

If You Want Results With Just One Coat:

Huda Beauty 1 Coat WOW! Extra Volumizing and Lifting Mascara ($23)

Huda Kattan launched Huda Beauty back in 2013 with false lashes, and now, 10 years later, she’s adding a mascara to her lineup that mimics those falsies. “Just one dip of this mascara is enough to give both eyes instant, intense impact—no matter your technique,” she says. “It rivals my false lashes and has a major WOW effect that I can’t live without!”
