With new celebrity beauty and self-care lines dropping on what seems like the daily, it can be hard to keep up with what’s trending in the world of celebrity business ventures. For anyone wondering which of these A-list headed brands is the real deal amongst consumers, Cosmetify just released data on the most popular celeb beauty brands of 2023 thus far, and the results prove that some lines just never fail.
Cosmetify’s ranking index took into account several factors like overall revenue and social media popularity, and the results concluded that the one and only Rihanna’s brand, Fenty Beauty, took first. From the brand’s focus on providing an extensive, inclusive shade range to their high-quality formulas and fellow A-lister fans, Fenty racked up an annual revenue of over $580 million, and scored an incredible 9.76/10 for overall score–factoring in all aspects of analysis. Since Cosmetify’s last ranking, Fenty beauty has remained unwavering in their first-place ranking, and their steady popularity is only further proved by the brand’s recent expansion into eight African countries and iconic SuperBowl feature.
Unsurprisingly, the runner up and third place celeb beauty brands were that of Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, respectively. Kylie Cosmetics came in at a close second with an overall ranking of 9.64/10 and Rare Beauty following close behind with an 8.97/10. Regardless of ranking, it’s safe to say that the era of celebrity-owned beauty brands is not going anywhere soon.
