Walton Goggins has arrived to the Met Gala. While it may be Monday, the HBO Sunday favorite stayed true to form, keeping it “effortlessly undone” for the carpet.
“My inspiration for this very personal hairstyle comes from the beyond talented man was Walton Goggins himself,” shares Goggins’ groomer and NewBeauty Brain Trust member Ermahn Ospina of The White Lotus standout. “I wanted to create a look that had volume, was texturized, unapologetic and most of all, unexpected.”
For the full Moroccanoil mane lineup, Ospina first washed hair using Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner ($56). Once towel dried, he prepped hair using Moroccanoil Treatment Original ($48) to detangle, condition and boost shine.
To get “the volume that stays,” Ospina applied Moroccanoil Volumizing Mist ($32) in small sections throughout the hair, spraying it lightly on the roots. He then followed up with small amounts of Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse ($32) on the ends.
After drying the hair, Ospina used Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray ($32), which he likes for giving a “a soft, gritty feel, leaving your hair effortlessly undone.”
The final hair add-in was the Moroccanoil Texture Clay ($30), which Ospina worked in through the ends of the hair with fingers to create more defined pieces, finishing off with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium ($28) for a “weightless hold, natural look and no sticky residue.”
Also on tonight’s agenda, a multitasking star product: The OLAY Super Cream ($35) (yes, it contains SPF!), which Ospina applied with a brush.
