Based on her looks from past episodes, we can predict that RHONJ star Melissa Gorga loves getting glammed. In a recent interview, the 42-year-old shares how she gets ready in the morning, and it turns out we were right about her love for beauty.
“Everyday makeup for me, especially in the summer, includes a tinted moisturizer,” she tells New York Post. “Less is more for me, especially as I get older because you look more youthful with less makeup on.” The barely there albeit highly effective tint she’s been reaching for on the daily: It Cosmetics CC Cream SPF 50+ ($30) topped with a few light dabs of Tarte Shape Tape Concealer ($29). “I get shiny a lot, especially in the summer because I have oilier skin, and Charlotte Tilbury has a great powder ($45) that I love,” she adds.
To top off her face makeup, she uses Marc Jacobs Beauty Omega Bronze Coconut Perfect Tan Bronzer ($25) all over, along with a swipe of Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush ($40). “I’m a big baby-pink cheeks girl, or else I call it rouge. The baby pinks and light peaches look most youthful.” Lastly, she applies the M.A.C. Cosmetics Mineralized Skin Finish ($37) in Soft & Gentle across the tops of her cheekbones. “I’m old-school with M.A.C.’s Soft & Gentle for a highlight,” she says. “It gives me my glow.”
She then finishes off her makeup with Natasha Denona Glam Eyeshadow Palette ($65), a few wisps of Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal Mascara ($7) and Ardell Naked Lashes ($10). “My lashes are pretty long, but I’ll wear Ardell’s false eyelashes once in a while when I’m going out on Saturday night,” she tells New York Post.
Although she’s a lover of makeup, she knows that the glam isn’t possible without proper skin care. A few of her go-to products: Kiehls Creme de Corps ($40), which she uses fresh out of the shower, La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream ($350) and Sephora Collection Peppermint Gum Mask ($8). “I love the green Sephora-brand face mask that you squeeze from the tube,” she says, referring to the Gum Mask. “It feels like it’s giving a breath of fresh air to your skin, especially around your jaw and neck area.”
