If lifestyle blogger and T.V. host Louise Roe can do anything, it’s teach us how to live our best lives in every possible sense. (Think: How to properly—and beautifully—wrap a gift to walking us through her must-have winter fashion staples.)

While we’re guilty of spending far too much time scrolling through each section of her blog, Front Row by Louise Roe, we pay the most attention to the beauty tab, where she shares all of the makeup looks and products she’s currently loving. Roe has an impressively large collection of products, but the most recent makeup item she can’t get enough of is one that she recently curated with Pixi by Petra.

Explaining the inspiration behind her new and incredibly convenient Pixi+Louise Roe Cream Rouge Palette ($20), a 25-shade cream color palette for the lips and cheeks, Roe says her goal was to make sure the colors lasted all day while still staying dewy. “Women have zero time to do their makeup, and this palette makes three-minute makeup possible! It can be used on your lips, cheeks and even eyelids, so it’s a one-stop shop,” she says, adding that her two favorite colors from the palette are Smooch, which she pats on the lips, and Putty, a perfect cheek-topper.

The 39 year-old is admittedly a makeup junkie, but she also knows that makeup can’t work its magic without proper skin care. Before she applies any makeup, Roe begins with a sheet mask and serum to make the skin gleam. “Then, I dot the palette onto the apples of my cheeks and cupids bow—that’s it! No other makeup. It feels very subtle and elegant.” If she’s suffering from a restless night, she uses the color Try Me for an instant glow up, which she says is “the perfect color for an instant lift—it’s like you suddenly got 10 hours sleep and your cheeks are rosy and refreshed.”

In terms of application, Roe says you can go any route you wish, but she prefers to use her own fingers to pat the product into her face. “You can use brushes, but I love applying it with my finger—the makeup just melts into your skin and blends wonderfully.”
