What do you get when you pair effective ingredients, a reasonable price tag and a dermatologist’s stamp of approval? L’Oreal’s Derm Intensives line, which we’ve been big fans of since their $30 vitamin C serum changed our skin. (More on that here.) However, the latest launch from the derm-approved brand has us playing favorites.
Enter: L’Oréal Paris Revitalifit Derm Intensives 1.9% Hyaluronic Acid Ampoules ($25), which bottles up their highest concentration of hyaluronic acid yet and divvies it up into seven daily ampoules.

You might be thinking: So this serum only lasts a week? Technically yes, but it’s not meant to be the daily HA serum you layer beneath your makeup every morning. Instead, consider it an intensive treatment for superdry skin that just won’t budge. The secret lies in the 1.9 percent pure hyaluronic acid housed in each tiny vial. A favorite of practically every derm, hyaluronic acid is the not-so-secret secret to hydrated skin and holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water, which means when it is applied topically, skin is plumped and appears smoother and all-around younger.
Because the vials are so concentrated, when used on the skin for seven consecutive days—no cheating!—wrinkled, parched skin looks seriously dewier and more youthful—no flaking to be found. In fact, the brand refers to these tubes as “Replumping Ampoules” which is almost reason enough to add it to your cart.
Using it is simple: Each morning, apply half of one ampoule on cleansed, damp skin. At night, use the other half. Continue this for seven days. The end result? Skin that bounces back in a week’s time—all for $25. Can’t beat it.
