Lisa Rinna’s workout philosophy embodies the age-old adage, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” In an interview with Us Weekly, the 60-year-old reality star revealed that she has maintained a consistent fitness regimen since she was a teen.

“I’ve had the same fitness routine since I was 16,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum told the outlet. “It started with Jazzercise and I’ve been consistent about working out ever since.”

Rinna went on to reveal that she works out five days a week. Her favorite activities include yoga and dancing, supplemented by occasional hikes, spin classes, and Pilates.

This wasn’t the first time she spoke to the outlet about her favorite exercises. In 2018, she expressed her love for yoga. “Yoga has been my life savior for 26 years I’ve been practicing now,” she said. “It’s my consistent … you know, I do many workouts and I go through lots of different things, but I think most consistently practicing yoga has been the most helpful in keeping myself grounded and somewhat space … somewhat…”

As for the workout that energizes her? Dancing. During the coronavirus pandemic, Rinna started putting her moves on display for social media, much to the delight of her followers. “It makes me happy to do it,” she said in a sit-down interview with NewBeauty in 2020. “If it brings other people joy, then even better. It’s just a little break. From what I gather, people get a kick out of it. I get a kick out of it. It’s fun when you get to do something that makes you feel good and then makes others feel good. It’s a win-win. What else will I do? Who knows? I’m game for anything. You know me, I’m a hustler. I’ll try anything.”

Rinna also gave insight into her more relaxed, at-home persona, which starkly contrasts with her Hollywood glam image, and her mom’s beauty preferences. (She said she’s “never left the house without makeup on.”) “In my day to day, I’m pretty casual,” she told NewBeauty in 2020. “I don’t wear any makeup, really. In my dance videos I post on social media, you can see what I really look like, which is a good representation of who I actually am in real life—especially during this time at home.”

“My mom always said to me, ‘Why don’t you just put a little blush on? You’ll feel better. It’ll make you feel better, I promise.’ It’s so funny,” she continued. We still have this running joke because now that she’s 92, God love her, there’ll be times where she’ll look at me and say, ‘Did I put too much blush on?’ And I say, ‘You did,’ and I’ll smooth it out a little bit for her. It’s this running joke we have that’s really cute.”
