Lindsay Lohan has been making headlines for being one of several celebrities who appear to be aging in reverse lately—and lucky for us, she just revealed everything she does to keep her skin looking ageless. The 38-year-old is Elle‘s latest cover star, and in the corresponding interview, she opened up about her skin-care regimen, the cosmetic treatments she’s a big fan of and the diet she sticks to to keep her skin smooth as ever.

“I drink this juice every morning. It’s like carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, apple,” Lohan told Saturday Night Live‘s Chloe Fineman. “I also drink a lot of green tea, a lot of water. I’m a big pickled beets person, so I put them in almost everything.” She continued, detailing her “very specific” skin-care routine and the treatments she swears by. The Freakier Friday star also casually revealed that she’s currently testing a lineup of products for a beauty brand she’s developing on her own later.

“I’m trying out some serums now that I’m doing—I’m testing them,” Lohan said. “Also, I’m a big believer in ice-cold water on your face when you wake up. I drink lemon juice a lot; I also put tons of chia seeds in my water. Eye patches, I do every morning.”

She’s also been really into lasers lately, specifically the Skorr Glow ($685) that actress Julianne Moore raved about on Instagram back in February. “There’s a new at-home one I saw that Julianne Moore was using that looked really good,” she said. “It’s good for around your mouth.” The at-home tool is a device that uses a combination of microcurrent, radiofrequency and LED light therapy to sculpt the face and target signs of aging.

Lohan gave birth to her first child, Luai, back in 2023. Before becoming a mom, her skin was able to tolerate a wider range of products and treatments, but she realized after having her son that her skin had become much more sensitive.

“I did Morpheus8 once, and then I realized my skin is so thin that I can’t be doing that,” she said. “My skin changed after having my son. It got really sensitive. That’s what really made me change my whole routine and diet and everything. I did blood tests, and I was like, ‘I want to know everything I’m allergic to.’” The actress said that she’s glad that her skin changed after having a baby “because it made me aware of how to take care of my skin long term.”

Lohan puts a great deal of care into her beauty routine, she also knows that having good skin means that more fans will unnecessarily speculate and assume she’s gone under the knife. To that, she makes clear that she lacks the time required to get plastic surgery.

“I’m like, when? With what time? Where?” she said. In response to a comment about online trolls and people who make claims about how women age, she said, “You just have to do it and ignore everyone else.”
