Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards, has been looking a little different on Instagram lately. While there were different rumors about what she had done, the star finally cleared them up on Instagram last Friday. “Since so many of you were speculating what I did or did not do to my face… here is your answer. I fixed my nose,” she shared.

Richards’ series of stories explained her procedure and why she opted for it, along with up-to-date selfies of her newly sculpted nose. In one of the stories, she explained that she broke her nose last year, which caused the bone to protrude. “So, I fixed the bone, fixed my breathing problems and refined the top.”

A broken nose can cause a wide range of issues in terms of breathing, and Richards—who is now 15 days post-op—said that her rhinoplasty helped in that area a lot. “I can breathe so well now it is a serious game changer for sleeping.”

In terms of her recovery, Richards says that the surgery and downtime were actually quite easy. “Personally, it was not painful for me at all. I was low-key enjoying the downtime and watching movies, which I never do. Five days I stayed home.”

She also explained how her surgeon, Glendale, CA plastic surgeon Vladimir Grigoryants, MD, doesn’t pack the nose with cotton gauze after surgery. “I had two small splints which made it so much easier [to breathe].”

Although she had the surgery only two weeks ago, she looks very well healed and recovered (despite a small amount of bruising). “It’s going to be swollen for a while,” says Richards. “The final result is actually at one year.”
