Kourtney Kardashian is the latest celebrity to undergo a PRP microneedling treatment, also known as the Vampire Facial, made famous by her sister Kim.

The oldest Kardashian sister posted on Snapchat a session with Beverly Hills, CA, facial plastic surgeon Jason Diamond MD, showing herself undergoing dermarolling while a syringe of PRP is prepared nearby. “I’m here with Dr. Diamond and we’re doing Dr. Diamond’s PRP and microneedling, where we take my own blood and put it into my skin,” Kardashian says in the video.
PRP can be used in two different ways during a vampire facial treatment. It is usually microneedlined or dermarolled back into the skin, or injected as a type of filler in a treatment known as the Vampire Facelift. Growth factors from PRP help to regenerate tissue and boost collagen, resulting in more youthful-looking skin.
