Between the 25th anniversary of Sex and the City and a cameo in And Just Like That… to a recently released movie and a new Netflix show hitting later this June, it is the unofficial month of Kim Cattrall.
As her alter ego of the great Samantha Jones once said, “I have nothing to hide,” and, at 66, the star seems to be taking the same stance, opening up on how cosmetic treatments tie-in to her long-standing career.
“I’m in my 60s now, and I’m all about battling aging in every way I can,” Cattrall shared with The Sunday Times, who featured her on the cover June 4. “There are so many other alternatives now, treatments that stimulate your own body to fight aging. There are fillers, Botox, there’s so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it’s for you.”
In addition to stressing “it isn’t a vanity thing” for her chosen career, Cattrall also went on to drive home the importance of finding the right provider for best results: “If you have the money and, more importantly, the right surgeon…it can’t be emphasized enough. You want to look like you.”
While not cutting corners on cost might be key to good aesthetic results, the actress did tell us last month that some of her holy grail items aren’t super complicated, and include everything from using Dove soap to taking a cold shower after work.
