We’re only a few weeks into 2024, and we’re pretty sure it’s the year of the bob. The bob has been trending since the summer, with droves of celebrities getting behind the chop. Red carpets in the new year have proven that the trend is just continuing to pick up steam.
Jennifer Lopez has a bob now
One star we didn’t think would opt for a bob is Jennifer Lopez. Known for her perfectly highlighted, voluminous long waves, we were surprised to see Lopez with a bob but leave it to her to shock us all on a red carpet.
Lopez debuted the bob at Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2024 haute couture show in Paris. It was styled with a chic wet look and a slight flip outward at the ends.
The star didn’t stop the jaw-dropping moments there. Lopez wore funky gold sunglasses and big gold earrings, leaving us unsure where to look because it all felt like art. We can’t wait to see what other looks she serves us with this new bold cut.
