After months of sporting the iconic “Cher hair,” Kim Kardashian West has changed up her look and started wearing her hair in a blunt lob. While this style isn’t exactly a new look for her, people can’t seem to get over how gorgeous the super straight and ultra-shiny hairstyle looks. Luckily for us, Kardashian West’s hairstylist just revealed her exact steps for creating her healthy-looking hair, and it’s much easier than you’d think.
According to an Instagram post by celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan, she first preps Kardashian West’s damp hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shine Serum ($5) and R+Co Park Ave Blow Out Balm ($28) before blow-drying it smooth with a ghd blow dryer and Ibiza Hair Tools Smoothing Brush ($120).
Then, Marjan uses a flat iron to straighten small, horizontal sections with the ghd Platinum Flat Iron ($249), following the iron with a smoothing brush and pressing the hair flat to the head as it cools. Finally, Marjan runs a small amount of Leonor Greyl Eclat Naturel ($46) throughout the hair to lay down flyaways and uses a toothbrush sprayed with Balmain Hair Couture Hairspray ($40) to brush down the hairline.
Surprisingly, that’s all there is to it. You’re only three simple steps and four styling products away from Kardashian West’s ultra-shiny hair look.
