Gucci Westman is the makeup artist on speed dial for a handful of our favorite A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Anne Hathaway. Although we’ve heard the scoop on her makeup tips and tricks in the past, we’ve never gotten an inside look into her vanity, until today when the celebrity go-to-turned-CEO shared her favorites on Instagram.
“Step inside my office,” writes Westman. “Currently updating all my product recommendations from skin care to makeup to supplements and more on my digital @shopmyshelfus!”
While her recommendations on the site feature everything from her kitchen essentials to her fall bag must-haves, we’re taking a deep dive into her skin-care picks, and we’re never looking back.
First on her list of skin-care favorites are masks, which take up the most vanity space in Westman’s bathroom. In the lineup: May Lindstrom The Problem Solver Correcting Masque ($100), SK-II Facial Treatment Sheet Mask ($139 for 10 packs) and Eminence Organic Clear Skin Probiotic Masque ($56).
Next up: moisturizers. One of three of her favorite creams is Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream ($170), which is also an editor-favorite on our end as its luxurious, extra-hydrating formula penetrates deep into the skin’s layers for an incomparable level of hydration. Another cream she often reaches for is Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream ($40), which is filled with natural ingredients including olive oil, beeswax and honey and is a fan favorite among makeup artists and celebrities. For her day cream, she reaches for Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream ($24).
Mother Dirt Face and Body Cleanser ($15) is Westman’s go-to for sloughing off the day without hurting the skin’s biome; Aurelia Revitalize & Glow Serum ($96) is the secret behind her youthful skin; Linne Botanicals Smooth Body Balm ($74) is her go-to body moisturizer, and her two favorite resurfacers are Volition Beauty Apple Cider Vinegar Resurfacing Peel Pads ($64) and Moon Juice Acid Potion ($42).
