It’s not uncommon for people to get a bit experimental with their brows (remember wavy brows, anyone?). However, it’s much more rare for people to actually like the daring brow trends that grace social media, which is why the reactions regarding the latest brow trend are pretty surprising.

Enter: fishtail brows. After Instagram beauty blogger, Huda Kattan, posted a photo of herself with split brows in the shape of—you guessed it—a fishtail, people were very vocal on their feelings about the look.
The trend’s original inventor, Stefan (@skyzeditz)—who actually created the photoshopped image of Kattan—crafted the look on Instagram a few days ago, garnering more than 11,000 likes and hundreds of comments. “They break the tradition of eyebrows but I like them,” wrote on commenter surprisingly wrote about the daring trend, with another writing, “I bet this looks horrendous in person.”
The debate even crossed over onto Twitter, with quite a few users commenting on the look:
